Our site sell hardcore porn magazines. We sell xxx mags from the start of hardcore porn mags in the 1960s. The first publishers of hardcore mags were Jen and Peter Theander who started Color Climax and Rodox in 1967. Peter Theander (born 1941) and Jens Theander (born 1944) were Danish photographer / film directors who in the 1960s created companies Rodox Trading , Color Climax Corporation and Candy Movie.
1966/7
Peter and Jens started Color Climax in Denmark. It was technically an illegal operation as hardcore pornography was not officially legalised in Denmark until 1969. However, the carpet ban on pornography was lifted in Denmark in 1967 and the law was changed in 1969 to make Denmark the first country in the world to legalise hardcore pornography. It took the United Kingdom a further 31 years to allow hardcore pornography on its shores and even today certain subject matter is still illegal in the UK.
Denmark today:
Citizens have free access to hardcore pornography. It is available in newsagents, convenience stores, petrol stations and all video stores have a porn section. The only stipulations are that porn is placed out of the sight of children and cannot be sold to persons under the age of 15. TV channels broadcast hardcore porn without encryption most nights. Child pornography was legal in Denmark until 1980. The production, sale and possession of bestiality (pornography featuring humans and animals) is legal. It is illegal to distribute pornography of persons under the age of 18, however, the age of consent is 15 and it is not illegal to possess pornography featuring 15 year olds provided those featured have consented.
UK today:
Since 2000 hardcore pornography is legal. However, unlike Denmark there are many forms of pornography which are illegal to sell but legal to possess and types which are both illegal to sell and possess. In the UK legal hardcore pornography is available to anyone aged 18 or over. Hardcore magazines are freely available in newsagents, petrol stations and via internet retailers www.hardcoremagazines.co.uk    www.over18.co.uk ; hardcore dvds certified by the BBFC with an R18 certification are only available from licensed sexshops and sale by mail order is prohibited. A UK citizen is legally free to purchase porn dvds through foreign webshops, but should be aware that some material is illegal to import and should only purchase mainstream pornography and avoid extreme subjects.
